Refund / Cancellation Policy
- Case Unlock: 24-hour refund if no Material Use after charge.
- Subscriptions: Refunds only if no Material Use and requested within 7 days of first charge or 72 hours of renewal; otherwise cancel for next period.
- Credits: 7-day refund if unused; non-refundable after use/expiry.

This Refund / Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) explains how refunds and cancellations work for LEXIMMI, a product and website operated by PAZL LLC (“PAZL”, “we”, “us”). Capitalized terms used but not defined here have the meanings in our Terms of Service.
1) Scope & who we are

This Policy applies to purchases made directly through LEXIMMI (web/app), including one-time Case Unlock, Subscriptions, and, if offered, Credits/Bundles. If you purchased through a third party, their policy may apply.
2) Key definitions

Case Unlock (one-time): A single purchase that unlocks enhanced features for a specific case/form for a set period.

Subscription: A recurring plan (monthly/annual) that renews automatically until cancelled.

Credits/Bundles: A fixed number of actions/exports/checks that may have an expiration date.

Material Use / Key Features: Use of paid features such as Full Final Check, Packet/cover-letter builder or exhibits index, USCIS-ready export or packet assembly, or AI questions beyond free quota.
We provide free capabilities (e.g., form filling, limited AI questions, basic check preview). Refund eligibility below depends on whether paid Key Features were used after the charge.
3) One-time purchases (Case Unlock)

Refund window: You may request a refund within 24 hours of purchase if no Material Use occurred after the charge.

If Material Use occurred: The purchase is non-refundable.

No auto-renewal: Case Unlock does not renew automatically.

Non-transferable: Entitlements are tied to your account and, where applicable, to a specific case.
4) Subscriptions (monthly/annual)

Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel before the next renewal date (see §5 for how to cancel).

First-time charge refund: If no Material Use occurred after the first subscription charge, you may request a refund within 7 days of that charge.

Renewal charge grace: If no Material Use occurred in the new billing period, you may request a refund within 72 hours of the renewal charge.

Otherwise: Subscription charges are non-refundable; cancellation takes effect at the next billing period. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial periods.
5) How to cancel a subscription

In-app: Go to Account → Billing and select Cancel subscription.

Or email: support@leximmi.com from your registered email.
Cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.
6) Credits/Bundles (if offered)

Refunds: If zero credits have been used, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase.

After use or after expiry: Non-refundable. Unused credits expire on the posted date and are forfeited after expiry.
7) Trials, promos, and free quotas

Trials and promotional quotas may change or end at any time as permitted by law.

If a trial converts to a paid subscription, this will be disclosed at the trial start and before billing. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges.

Charges following a trial are refundable only as provided in §4 (i.e., no Material Use and within the applicable window).
8) Non-refundable items & exceptions

Performed services: Human/concierge reviews, rush services, or any service already performed or started.

Third-party/processing fees: Payment processor fees, currency conversion, and bank fees are not refunded unless required by law.

Abuse/fraud: We may deny refunds and/or suspend accounts in cases of suspected misuse.

Law overrides: If applicable law provides you greater rights (e.g., statutory cooling-off), we will honor those rights.
9) How to request a refund

Your account email, order ID/receipt, charge date/amount, and reason (including whether any Key Features were used).
We typically review within 3–5 business days. If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method; banks usually complete processing within 5–10 business days. We may request additional information for verification.
10) Billing disputes & chargebacks
Please contact us first at support@leximmi.com so we can help. If you initiate a chargeback, we may provide the payment processor with evidence of your account activity (e.g., logins, checks/exports/packet builds) and may suspend access while the dispute is pending.
11) Changes to offerings & prices
We may modify features or pricing. Subscription price changes apply at the next renewal with prior notice. Completed one-time purchases are not retroactively repriced.
12) Compliance notes (EEA/UK/California)

Digital content/services: Where local law requires a withdrawal right, you may lose that right once performance begins with your express consent.

CPRA (California): Refunds in this Policy do not limit your privacy rights under CPRA. See our Privacy Policy.
13) Updates to this Policy
We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email where appropriate.
