Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you (“you” or “User”) and PAZL LLC (“PAZL”, “we”, “us”, “our”). LEXIMMI is a product and website operated by PAZL (the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1) Who we are; Not a law firm

PAZL operates LEXIMMI to help users understand and fill in immigration forms. We are not a law firm, do not provide legal advice, and do not create an attorney-client relationship. For legal advice, consult a licensed attorney. The Service is not affiliated with USCIS or any government agency.

2) Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the required age in your jurisdiction). If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental/guardian consent.

• You are responsible for your account, devices, and keeping your sign-in methods (e.g., magic link) secure.

• You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us of unauthorized use of your account.

3) Paid plans, billing, renewals, refunds

• Paid Offerings. We may offer:
  (a) “Case Unlock” (one-time) — a single purchase that unlocks enhanced features for a specific case/form for a stated period;
  (b) “Subscription” — a recurring plan (monthly/annual);
  (c) “Credits/Bundles” (if offered) — a set number of actions/exports with an expiration date.
  The scope, limits, and duration are shown at checkout and/or in your account.

• Auto-renewal (Subscriptions). Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel before the renewal date. We will notify you of price changes before the next renewal. Cancellation takes effect at the next billing period; amounts already paid are non-refundable unless stated in our Refund / Cancellation Policy or required by law.

• One-time / Case Unlock. One-time purchases do not auto-renew, are tied to your account (and, where applicable, a specific case_id), are non-transferable, and are not convertible to other offerings unless expressly stated.

• Trials & promos. Free periods, free quotas (e.g., N AI questions, one basic check), and promo codes may change or end at any time to the extent permitted by law. If a trial transitions to a paid subscription, that will be disclosed at trial start and prior to billing.

• Payment processing; taxes. Payments are processed by our payment processor; applicable taxes may be added. You consent to e-invoicing/receipts.

• Refunds / Cancellation. Refunds are governed by our Refund / Cancellation Policy (incorporated by reference). If no separate policy is posted, payments are non-refundable, except where required by law.

• Fair use & quotas. Paid limits (e.g., number of checks, AI questions, cases) and reasonable-use policies apply to maintain quality and prevent abuse. We may temporarily limit or suspend access upon suspected abuse.

• Price changes. Subscription price changes take effect at the next renewal (with notice). One-time purchases already completed are not retroactively repriced.

• Failed payments. We may retry failed charges; prolonged non-payment may result in suspension of paid features until resolved.

4) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for unlawful purposes, to provide legal advice, or to misrepresent identity or eligibility;

• upload or share illegal, harmful, infringing content or malware;

• access accounts or data without authorization; interfere with or disrupt the Service; bypass rate limits; scrape/crawl contrary to our instructions;

• reverse engineer, decompile, or derive source code except as allowed by law;

• use outputs to violate third-party rights or applicable law.
  We may suspend or terminate access for violations or risks to the Service or others.

5) Your content & license to PAZL

• User Content. You retain all rights to content you submit (form entries, uploads, chat, feedback).

• You grant PAZL a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, reproduce, and create derivative works of your content solely to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service (including generating outputs you request), and to comply with law.

• You represent that you have the rights to submit the content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.

• Data handling for AI. We currently do not send form fields or uploaded documents to third-party AI providers. Only chat messages you choose to send to the assistant may be processed by our AI. We do not allow providers to train their models on your content unless you explicitly opt in. See the Privacy Policy for details.

5A) Entitlements & limitations (Paid features)

• Scope. Paid entitlements apply only to your account and, where applicable, to a specific case_id.

• Non-transferable. You may not transfer, resell, or share access/quotas outside permitted team/seat plans (if any).

• Expiration. Case Unlock and Credits may have an expiration date; unused quotas after expiry are forfeited.

• No guarantee of outcome. Paid checks, hints, and packet builders do not guarantee any result with USCIS or other authorities.

6) Outputs and accuracy; No legal advice

AI explanations, checks, and generated text/PDFs are informational only and may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are solely responsible for reviewing all information and ensuring that any form you file is correct, complete, and submitted with all required evidence and fees. No government outcome is guaranteed.

7) Service changes; Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time. We strive for uptime but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Maintenance and security/operational actions may occur.

8) Third-party services

The Service may link to or rely on third-party services (e.g., hosting, analytics, email, payment). We are not responsible for third-party terms or practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms and policies.

9) Intellectual property

The Service, including software, design, and trademarks (other than your content), is owned by PAZL or its licensors and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you rights to our IP except the limited right to use the Service under these Terms.

10) DMCA / copyright complaints

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, email support@leximmi.com with: (a) your contact info, (b) identification of the copyrighted work and the allegedly infringing material, (c) a statement of good-faith belief, and (d) a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act.

11) Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PAZL DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, ERROR-FREE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.

12) Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PAZL LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO PAZL FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE (OR $100 IF YOU PAID NOTHING).
(Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers/limitations; in those cases, these apply to the fullest extent permitted.)

13) Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold harmless PAZL and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your content; or (c) your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14) Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk or possible legal exposure for us or others, or for operational/security reasons. Upon termination, Sections intended to survive (including 5–13, 15–20) will continue to apply.

15) Billing disputes & chargebacks

Before initiating a chargeback, please contact support@leximmi.com so we can try to resolve the issue. Unauthorized charges will be investigated with the payment processor. We may provide evidence of Service use (login logs, checks/exports performed) in dispute proceedings.

16) Plan changes (upgrade/downgrade)

Upgrades may take effect immediately (with proration if supported by the payment system). Downgrades take effect at the next billing period; features above your new limits may become unavailable after the change date.

17) Governing law; Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Florida for disputes arising from these Terms or the Service, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
(If you prefer arbitration/class-action waiver, we can add that instead of court venue.)

18) Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version with a revised “Last updated” date and, if changes are material, provide additional notice (e.g., in-app or email). Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

19) Notices; Electronic communications

By using the Service, you agree to receive notices and communications from us electronically (e.g., email, in-app). Keep your contact info up to date.

20) Miscellaneous

• Severability. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.

• No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

• Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

• Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any posted policies or feature-specific terms are the entire agreement regarding the Service.
